Beschreibung
ListenUp records whatever's playing on your Mac — system audio, not the microphone. Grab a clip from a video call, a stream, a game, or anything else making sound, then trim it down before saving. Record — one click starts capturing your Mac's audio output. Trim — a waveform shows the whole recording; drag the handles to pick exactly the part you want. Auto-trim silence — one click finds where the real audio starts and ends, stripping the dead air at either end. Save — export the trimmed selection as a standalone audio file. No subscriptions, no accounts, no cloud upload — everything stays on your Mac.

Version 1.2.1 · 25.9.2026New • A Recording menu with keyboard shortcuts. ⌘R starts or stops a recording, ⌘P plays the selection, ⌘T trims silence, ⌘S saves. • Trim from the keyboard. Tab to a trim handle and use the arrow keys — a tenth of a second per press, or a whole second with Shift. • Works with VoiceOver. The trim handles, waveform and recording timer are all labeled, and ListenUp tells you when a recording starts, is ready to trim, and is saved. Improved • Respects Reduce Motion. The recording dot holds still instead of pulsing. • Respects Increase Contrast. The trimmed-away part of the waveform and the handles are easier to see. • Auto-Trim Silence now says so when there's nothing to trim, instead of seeming to do nothing.
