Features include: - Apple TV navigation with your keyboard and trackpad - Playback, volume, mute, and other remote controls - Keyboard shortcuts for fast, familiar control - Dock, menu bar, and universal hot key access - Now Playing with artwork, progress, and playback controls - Text entry from your Mac keyboard when Apple TV requests it - Apps sidebar with favorites, reordering, hiding, and restoring - Multiple Apple TV support with custom names inside Better Remote - Appearance options to match your preference - Haptic feedback for the six primary remote controls and D-pad controls Better Remote is a simple companion for the Apple TV. It makes your Apple TV feel like an extension of Mac.

Updated for macOS 27 with refreshed Liquid Glass controls and improved window behavior. Better Remote Fidget now has improved 3D interactions and an experimental option to use it as your default remote window. Enable “Prefer 3D window” in Advanced settings. This update also improves Apple TV connection recovery and fixes delays that could occur between remote commands. A new menu bar app puts your Apple TV remote within easy reach, without opening the main window.
