Searchitall turns anything on your screen into something useful. Drag a box around a photo, a foreign menu, an error message, a product, a QR code, anything, and Searchitall reads it, explains it, or translates it in a tap. Press ⌥⌘G (or click the menu-bar icon) to grab an area. The text is pulled out and copied to your clipboard automatically, and a compact panel appears right next to your grab. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH A GRAB • Copy text — accurate on-device OCR pulls the words out of any image, video frame or window, and copies them instantly. • Ask AI — identify a product, painting, plant or landmark; explain an error; summarise a page. Bring your own key for Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT. • Translate — turn grabbed text into any language. Works on-device with Apple Translation, or instantly with your AI key. • Image search — find where a picture came from or what it shows, in your browser. • Colours — lift a colour palette as hex, straight from the grab. • Codes — decode QR codes and barcodes (links, Wi-Fi, product numbers). PRIVATE BY DESIGN Text, colours and codes are extracted entirely on your Mac, nothing is uploaded. AI and image-search features only send the pixels you grab, only when you ask, and only to the provider you choose with your own key.
