LOUDMETER: Menu Bar

Beschreibung

LOUDMETER brings real time loudness metering to your Mac’s menu bar. Measure your DAW, Spotify, or browser audio without adding a meter plug-in to your session. Designed for mixing and mastering, with loudness measurement based on ITU-R BS.1770-5 and EBU R128. YOUR ESSENTIAL METERS • Integrated, Short-Term, and Momentary LUFS • True Peak in dBTP, with max hold and clip counter • Loudness Range and PSR • Stereo and spectral phase correlation BUILT FOR YOUR WORKFLOW Follow supported physical output routes, even when your DAW uses a different output from macOS. LOUDMETER adapts to sample-rate changes and keeps capture focused on one monitor output to avoid summing secondary routes. Customize your menu bar metrics, pin the panel above your DAW, and choose Color, Dark, or Light themes. The readout shrinks when menu bar space is limited. ANALYZE AND SHARE Drop an MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, or M4A file onto the panel for offline analysis. Compare measurements with reference targets for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Netflix, and EBU R128. Copy your results or export a PNG report. YOUR METERS ON IPHONE AND IPAD View your Mac’s live readings in LOUDMETER on an iPhone or iPad connected to the same local network. Only measurement and visualization data are transmitted, never your audio. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Audio processing stays local. No audio uploads, account, tracking, or analytics. • macOS 27: clicking the menu bar item a second time now closes the panel, and double-click to reset works again. • Pausing and resuming playback no longer wipes your Integrated, LRA and True Peak readings. A notification sound won't either. • Pressing reset while loud audio is playing no longer shows a false True Peak over. • Long sessions stay light: memory use now stays flat, even after hours of metering. • The panel feels smoother while it's open, especially in Settings. • Quitting an app you've set to ignore no longer restarts the measurement. • An audio device that can't be read no longer stops LOUDMETER from starting. • Live view on iPhone and iPad is sturdier.
