AboveMe: The Ultimate Menu Bar Flight Tracker Ever hear a plane fly over your house and wonder where it’s going? AboveMe is a lightweight, native macOS utility designed for aviation enthusiasts and the curious-at-heart. Instead of opening a heavy browser tab or fumbling with your phone, simply click the AboveMe icon in your menu bar. Within seconds, you’ll see the exact flight path, altitude, speed, and even a real photo of the aircraft currently in your sky. Key Features: • Instant Radar: One click to see a live map of your local airspace. • Real Aircraft Photos: See exactly what the plane looks like in the air. • Detailed Specs: Track aircraft type (from Cessnas to 747s), registration, and flight phase (Climb, Level, or Descent). • Adjustable Range: Toggle between a 25km local view or a 250km regional view. • Native Aesthetic: Beautiful frosted-glass UI that looks like it belongs on your Mac. • Privacy First: Your location stays on your device. No accounts, no tracking. Why AboveMe? We’re tired of "Subscription Fatigue." Most flight trackers today require a monthly fee just to see basic data. AboveMe is a one-time purchase. Buy it once, own it forever.
