FlyCheck: Menu Bar METARs

Beschreibung

FlyCheck is a native macOS utility designed for pilots who monitor METAR and TAF weather conditions during the 40 hours a week they spend at their desks. Born in a Berlin hotel room during a weather-induced grounding, FlyCheck replaces clunky browser tabs and "napkin math" with a high-contrast, professional-grade dashboard directly in your menu bar. WHY FLYCHECK? Native Excellence: Built with pure SwiftUI for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3), launching in 0.1s with zero impact on system performance. Airport Signage Aesthetic: We use high-contrast Helvetica Neue Condensed Bold, mimicking physical runway signage for instant, peripheral-vision legibility. Safety First: Don't just read the weather — let your Mac handle the Density Altitude and Crosswind calculations for you. Pilot-Grade Privacy: No accounts. No tracking. No subscriptions. Your data stays on your Mac.

Version 1.7 March 2026 The "Review" Update NEW FEATURES: • In-App Reviews: FlyCheck now intelligently prompts for an App Store review when it knows you're getting value from the app (e.g., after checking it on a few different days, or tracking a busy watchlist). The prompt appears seamlessly inside the app, so you never have to leave your workflow to support us!
