Poetics is a visual poetry app focused on developing concepts of semiotic poetry and decentralized art. The app is an ongoing project by Seth Indigo Carnes, an artist based in New York City. Poetics is used in over 150 countries, across languages and cultures. Poetics has a new Edit mode! Tap Edit to select one or more words, then move, resize, or delete them together. New alignment and straightening tools make it easy to line words up, space them evenly, or turn a whole group horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. There’s also a new alignment grid for more precise placement. You can choose when it appears in Settings. These tools make arranging poetics faster and more precise, while staying playful.
