Gaussian Blur is a bloom reverb Audio Unit (AUv3) plugin. It splits incoming audio into overlapping grains and sends them into a plate-style reverb tail. You control how long the grains are, when they play, how much they blend together and how long they ring out. Use it to turn vocals into slow swells or smear guitar chords into ambient pads. CONTROL WHEN THE REVERB BUILDS The bloom curve spreads the grains out over time or bunches them around one moment. Drag the curve to move that moment earlier or later, so the reverb comes in right away or swells up seconds after the sound. • Bloom time from 20 ms to 5 seconds • Tempo sync, including dotted and triplet divisions SHAPE THE GRAINS Short grains chop the source into small pieces. Longer grains keep more of the original phrase. Of course, this requires that the iOS device is on the same network as your Sonos devices at the time. For intensive use of external triggers, it is recommended to run SonoSequencr in 'server mode'. In this mode, SonoSequencr is always running in the foreground on a dedicated iOS device. There are many more features like grid view, create dynamic alarms, HTTP requests, launch other apps, automatic battery charging in server mode, transfer sequences between devices, etc.... You can only use music (radio streams/tracks/albums) for your sequences that are stored in your Sonos Favorites (My Sonos) or in your TuneIn radio stations. Simple 12-string guitar tuner to tune up your 12-string guitar. This is for the standard eEaAdDgGBBEE 12 String Guitar tuning. Tuning your guitar can be a difficult task for you if you are just beginning guitar. The good news is, the more you do it, the easier it becomes. A nicely tuned guitar can make your music sound a lot better and help you greatly while you're are just getting the hang of finger placement for notes. A 12 string guitar is split up into 6 pairs of 2 strings. The thicker string of the pair is tuned to the same note and octave as a regular 6 string guitar. The thinner string, on the pair of strings 3-6, is tuned one octave higher than it's pair. On the first and second pairs, the notes are the same octave and each string in the pair should sound exactly the same to it's other string in the pair. This is eEaAdDgGBBEE tuning. The lowercase letters means that it is one octave higher then it's counterpart. Touch the note for the string you want to tune and then turn the tuning pegs on your guitar and match it up with the note that is being played. Tip: Make several passes tuning each of the strings. For example you might have noticed that if you have tuned all the strings once, and then back to the first one you tuned, it might be off a little bit. This is because you are increasing or decreasing the tension on each of the strings as you tune it and the instrument's body might bend ever so slightly due to this difference in tension. This causes the other strings to slightly change in pitch. So make sure you keep on checking and tuning the strings until all are in tune, so make several passes. Also you can use this simple tuner for your standard 6-String Guitar, it is the same tuning, only the strings on the 6-String Guitar are EADGBBEE, which is right part of this 12-String Guitar Tuner. Absolute is an app that helps you to develop Perfect Pitch - the ability that allows you to identify and recall musical pitches quickly and accurately. WHO CAN USE IT? The widely accepted position is that Perfect Pitch can be developed only by kids within the so-called critical period of learning. However there are some studies that show that some adults also could acquire this ability with appropriate and consistent training. So it is not guaranteed that you acquire a genuine Perfect Pitch, but there are very good chances that with sufficient practice you will develop a good tonal sense and the ability to identify and recall pitches without any reference pitch. HOW IT WORKS? The app provides a well structured plan of exercises. The plan consists of 22 levels. Levels differ from each other by the set of pitches(notes) they include. Number of pitches in a level gradually increases as you progress through the plan. There are 4 types of exercises in a level: 1. For each note, you learn tonal mnemonics, called resolutions. A resolution is a short melodic phrase which always leads from the original note to the root note (note C). Resolutions allow you to form a unique mental picture for each of the 12 notes. The app plays you the resolution and visually indicates which notes are being played. You play the same sequence of notes in response. 2. You develop the ability to identify the resolutions by ear. The app plays you a resolution but doesn't show you which notes are being played. You try to identify the resolution and play it back. 3. You build up the association between a pitch and it's resolution. The app plays you a single pitch. You try to recall and play the resolution. 4. After you have sufficiently practiced the previous exercises you are given the task to identify pitches. The app plays you a pitch or a series of pitches and you play the same pitch(pitches) in response. There are two properties of your performance that allow you to advance through the plan: Accuracy and Tempo. Accuracy is the percentage of the correct answers in a given exercise session. You need to gain at least 90% to pass an exercise session. You also need to complete an exercise at a specific tempo (passing tempo) to unlock the next exercise. The key idea behind the increasing tempos of the practice sessions is that the shrinking time constraints force your brain to internalize the mental processes involved in the pitch identification activity. In other words, the brain moves the processing from the conscious to the unconscious realm. And as the result, at some point, the process of pitch identification is optimized to a level where you don’t need to use the resolution mnemonic any more. You just hear and immediately recognize a unique image of a musical pitch. A NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPER: I am a musician myself. I play and teach fingerstyle guitar. I don’t have perfect pitch.
