Gyroflow Toolbox allows you to import Gyroflow Projects into Final Cut Pro.  Advanced gyro-based video stabilisation without the round-tripping! Gyroflow is a free and open source third-party application that can stabilise your video by using motion data from a gyroscope and optionally an accelerometer. Modern cameras record that data internally (such as Blackmagic, GoPro, Sony, Insta360 etc), and Gyroflow stabilises the captured footage precisely by using that data. It can also use gyro data from an external source, such as Betaflight Blackbox. Gyroflow Toolbox allows you to take the stabilised data from Gyroflow and use it within Final Cut Pro as an effect, so you don't have to export a ProRes from Gyroflow! You can even use this in conjunction with BRAW Toolbox (also on the App Store), to stabilise Blackmagic RAW files! To get started, simply drop your video clip from the Final Cut Pro Browser or Finder to the drop zone in the Final Cut Pro Inspector. You can also drop a Gyroflow Project. Sony, GoPro (Hero 8+), DJI, BRAW and Insta360 will be automatically synced when imported. Other cameras, such as RED, will require launching Gyroflow to synchronise. GoPro, DJI and Insta360 will automatically select a Lens Profile. For all other cameras, you may need to manually select a Lens Profile, however, we'll try and GUESS a good match. Do you have hard disks or network shares with hundreds of photos in them and you're not sure which of these you've imported into your Mac and which ones you haven't? Mijo’s Photo Import Helper helps you safely review photos in folders and subfolders before importing them into Apple Photos. It scans a selected folder, compares the images with your Photos library, and shows only the photos that need review so you can choose exactly what to import. It will show photos that may be a potential match, but ones it's not completely sure about. You can hide those ones. It will list the ones in the folders that it thinks aren't already in your Photos library as it finds them, but you can ask it to group similar looking ones together in case you have copies of the same photos in other folders. Once you've picked the ones you want to import, import them and you're done! It's as simple as that! It's not perfect, ie: there's a chance it might accidentally give you some duplicates, but it's a lot quicker and easier than trying to go through all the folders on your hard disk and it usually gets things right. Nōtan is a Japanese design concept involving the play and placement of light and dark elements next to the other in the composition of art and imagery. The Yin Yang symbol is an example of this design philosophy. The use of Nōtan in art composition is a powerful tool to help the artist identify the structure of the light and dark portions of the image they want to incorporate into their project. The first function simply divides the image into black and white with colors above the set value being white and those below being black. You can then use the slider to move that line to enhance detail that may otherwise be obscured. The second and third functions displays the image in either a grayscale or color so the artist can focus on the structure and design of the image. The next 3 functions are Levels. They set either 3, 4, or up to 10 levels of color spread over black, gray and white pallets. The 3 and 4 levels have sliders to adjust where those levels are while the Levels function just evenly divides the image by the number of levels. Finally the last function is Slice. It allows you to select a small range of values and highlight those in black and everything else white. And as of version 3.1 you can now invert the display of each of the filters. Lighter values have been displayed in white, but now you can invert them to see those in black which can really help bring out detail. And of course, share your image in many ways.
