DiveLogDT is a full desktop digital Scuba Log Book and a companion application to Dive Log for iOS. DiveLogDT allows you to edit and manage your digital scuba diving logbook as well as Download a select number of dive computers. If we don't support downloading your dive computer, you can import dive computer profiles and other dive information from several other logbook formats, and sync your logbook to your mobile device using Dive Log for iOS. (See website for supported 3rd party applications and file formats) DiveLogDT works in both metric and imperial, shows statistics about your diving history, keeps track of all your scuba equipment, shows buddy and personal information, and dive site details. View all your Dive Site Locations on a world map if GPS locations have been entered. Lookup and fill in the GPS locations of your dive sites using the web - lookup via the Dive Site name with 2 different web services, or use a world map to point to it's exact location. Keep details about your dive trips and the shops that you dive with. Categorize each of your dives by any "type" of your choice. Know how many dives you've done with each piece of Equipment and when it should be serviced. Remember which pieces of your photography equipment you used for each dive too! Extensive Statistics are available for your logbook including dives by Site, City, Country, Buddy, Type, Equipment, Shops, and Trips. Also get a chronilogical view of your dives by year and by month. Select more than one dive at once and compare the dive profiles between dives. If your dive computer supports it, you can also view Temperature, Tank Pressure, No Decompression Limit, Remaining Bottom Time, and Heart Rate profiles. Tech divers will be able to view tank switches and decompression obligations on the profile. Enter tank pressure and size information to be able to view your SAC or RMV rate for the dive. If you don't want to take your desktop computer with you on a dive trip, then just take your mobile device with you on the boat and log all your dives using Dive Log for iOS. Use it to add your site GPS information, take location photos and save your weight and tank information etc, and enter buddy details (including signature) right away. Then when you get home, use DiveLogDT to *merge* your dive computer information into what you have already logged! Then sync your logbook back to your iOS device. Full synchronization is supported so that if you make changes in both places, they will all be preserved (per dive). You can also sync your logbook using a Cloud based service between your iOS devices and your macOS devices. You can also Import dives from many other formats and merge the information into what you have logged. Export your dive profile information into DL7 format for importing to other websites. Calculations are provided for the best Trimix given a planned depth and a desired maximum partial pressure of oxygen and equivalent narcotic depth (END). You can also calculate the ceiling and maximum depths along with your END based on your planned mix. The dive planning tools support both salt water and fresh water calculations. The blending tools provide for filling a cylinder with a remaining mix (or empty) to a specified target mix using oxygen, helium and a topping mix (air or another available mix). You can also calculate the result of topping an existing partially filled cylinder with a specific topping mix (air or another available mix). There is also a Bleed Down calculator that allows you adjust an existing full or partially full cylinder to a new mix with minimal wasted gas. Trimix Tools supports calculations in both metric and Imperial/US systems of measure. Traveling on a boat or working out of network range? These tools are at hand any time you have your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. You could, for example, easily calculate the result of topping your cylinder from your first dive with air from the boat's compressor to take advantage of any remaining mix. Trimix Tools includes the convenience of saved settings that you can recall and adjust to a new situation as needed. You can also select mix values using pre-installed default mixes or your own saved custom mixes. When updating one of the mixes for a tool you are offered a list of saved mixes that you can use directly or adjust as needed. You can save the currently displayed mix by tapping on the "+" button. Just like with the saved calculations, you can re-arrange or delete any mixes in your saved list. Do you need to share your planning or blending calculations with other divers? All the tools have the ability to share the results of the calculations from within the application. You can set default email addresses and a subject Trimix Tool's settings that will be automatically added when you share a result. All END calculations (Dive Planning and Best Trimix tabs) in Trimix Tools treat oxygen as a narcotic gas by default. There is an option available under the Settings tab to change the default so that oxygen is not treated as narcotic if that is your preference. Remember you must always personally analyze your mix before diving it. This application is not a substitute for proper training and should not be used as a substitute for proper dive planning or the primary Trimix blending and planning methods taught during training. Nitrox Tools includes the convenience of saved settings that you can recall at a touch and adjust to a new situation as needed.
