The big cloud storage services — Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and others - all have the same problem: they can only synchronize folders inside the cloud storage folder. However, you want to synchronize other folders like ~/Desktop, ~/Documents that can't be moved into the cloud storage folder. Fortunately, there’s a way around this limitation: symbolic links. By creating symbolic links to folders that can't be moved, then moving the symbolic links into the cloud storage folder, you're able to sync any folder. Cut and paste files and folders in Finder using Command+X and Command+V. Without this app, you have to first copy (Command+C) and then remember to move (Option+Command+V). You simply set up the app once and it runs in the background. The moving of files and folders are handled by Finder. The app just intercepts cut and paste commands when Finder is in the front and then simulates copy and move commands. If you don't paste after cutting, nothing happens and the files stay in place. It also works with the ForkLift app. Limitation: You cannot cut the name of a file when editing a filename in Finder or cut when using the search field. There is no way for the app to work around this.

DeArrow is a browser extension for crowdsourcing better titles and thumbnails on YouTube. The goal of DeArrow is to make titles accurate and reduce sensationalism. Titles can be any arbitrary text. Thumbnails are screenshots from specific timestamps in the video. These are user submitted and voted on. By default, if there are no submissions, it will format the original title to the user-specified format, and set a screenshot from a random timestamp as the thumbnail.
