HotPaw Talking Tuner is a hands-off, sound-activated, talking, chromatic, musical instrument tuner. It talks to tell you if your instrument is in tune or not; so you don't even have to look at it or touch the display. Talking Tuner uses speech synthesis, and works with or without VoiceOver being enabled. This app was created because I received a request to develop an iPhone app which could help a vision-challenged individual tune their musical instrument. This app is the result. With the Auto-Speak switch turned on, Talking Tuner will listen for a note to be played, and then, after waiting for the end of the sound (so as not to talk over it), will speak the note name, and how many cents sharp or flat the end of the note is estimated to be. Using headphones may help make it easier to hear what this app is saying while tuning. Make sure to turn the volume up high enough to hear it. The pitch estimation algorithm works best for notes between 2 octaves below Middle-C to 2 octaves above Middle-C. It may not work as well for very low notes, very high notes, or with any background noise, harmony, or accompaniment present. The default tuning resolution is about +- 3 cents (3/100ths of the pitch difference between semitones). Optional higher resolution tuning settings may result in a slower tuning response.

BounceBud is a physics based, generative MIDI sequncer. Each side of the app has a customizable keyboard that send a MIDI note when a ball collide with its key. You can specify the ball count, speed and size on the main screen with the knob controls.  In the settings menu, you can set the key/scale, velocity range, octave. range and MIDI channel settings of the keyboards. You can also specify the notes individually per keyboard. All keyboards share the same key/scale that could also be changed with BrainBud. Each keyboard has its own MIDI output, so you can play different audio apps with BounceBud at once. Or you can disable the keyboard sides you don't want to use. With a MIDI input (from a MIDI keyboard or a MIDI sequencer app) you can 'shoot walls' from the keyboards. Balls can interact with the walls and it introduce more randomness to your generative sequence. You can control each keyboard by assigning them different MIDI input channels in the settings menu. You can also toggle the ball collision behavior in the settings menu. Whether balls can collide with each other or not, it creates different, interesting sequences every time. The size variety and ball variety can be change in the ball settings section in the settings menu. It adds randomisation to the size and speed values. You can change the ball color theme in the settings menu as well! BounceBud is a MIDI app and it does not produce any sound on its own. You need to route BounceBud's MIDI outs to your audio app's MIDI input. The AUv3 plugin app needs and AUv3 host app such as AUM, Loopy Pro, Logic Pro, Cubasis, Nanostudio, apeMatrix etc.

XAir Monitor Mixer is a personal monitor mixer for select Behringer and Midas digital mixers. It allows each musician on stage to choose exactly what they hear in their monitor without affecting (or being able to affect, even by accident) the band's main mix. XAir Monitor Mixer supports the Behringer X18, XR18, XR16, XR12, and the Midas MR18 and MR12. XAir Monitor Mixer deliberately does not include controls that would allow a musician on stage to accidentally mute channels or otherwise alter the main mix. Usage: 1. Connect to the same WiFi network as the XR18. In most cases, this should be enough for the app to find your mixer. However, if your sound engineer has changed the default address of the mixer, you'll have to enter that address in the app's connection screen. 2. Choose which monitor you want to mix. If your sound engineer hasn't named these in a way that makes it obvious which is yours, ask him which is yours. 3. The app contains three different three-oscillator synths and a range of drum kits you can sequence and mix right in the SynthStation. For creating melodic and accompaniment parts, the SynthStation contains an arpeggiator with preset patterns, built-in effects and filters, and an XY touch control interface for expressive control of key parameters. DRUMS In addition to SynthStation's three synthesizers, we've included drum kits and a visual representation of the most iconic beat making tool in the world - MPC pads. Just pick your kit and start tapping beats anywhere, anytime. Includes: Drum Kit – select the drum kit and play it with onscreen pads. Drum Edit – tune, mix, and customize your drums. SEQUENCER Keyboard grid – see your keyboard sequencing and edit notes easily. Drum grid – build and modify drum tracks with a visible sequencer grid. SONG/SEQUENCE Select and save your Song/Sequence projects. You can recall your Songs and work on them later, and even export them for further editing in your desktop audio applications. CONTROL XY – two axes of control for hands-on, real-time control. Just like a joystick, the XY controller can snap back to the zero point. Tempo – control tempo and even tap in the tempo you want. MIXER The Mixer in SynthStation includes touch-controlled faders for each of the three synthesizers and the drum section as well as FX send for each.
